Red Deer Public Library partners with many community organizations to host a variety of events and programs, including several 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations. We host these events to demonstrate, in a concrete way, our full support for ALL members of our community, to encourage greater understanding, and create welcoming and inclusive spaces.
Members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community often face discrimination, lack of acceptance, and even hatred, so these programs are also designed to increase understanding within the broader community.
