Snell Auditorium

The Snell Auditorium is located on the lower floor of the Downtown Branch. It is a multi-use venue suitable for many different types of programs.

Monday - Thursday
Morning (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.): $85
Afternoon (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.): $85
Evening (5 p.m. to 8 p.m.): $85

Friday
Morning (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.): $85

Full Day Only (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.): $85

$750 for 7 days (Monday to Saturday)


Waskasoo Kiwanis Meeting Room

The Waskasoo Kiwanis Meeting Room is a smaller meeting space located on the second floor of the Downtown Branch.

Afternoon (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.): $50
Evening (5 p.m. to 8 p.m.): $50

Friday
Morning (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.): $50

Green Room

The Green Room is a small room located adjacent to the Snell Auditorium on the lower floor of the Downtown Branch.

Evening (5 p.m. to 8 p.m.): $30

Friday

Security (for rentals outside of regular hours – per hour not pro-rated): $30

Availability And Terms of Use of Rentable Spaces

Room rental rates are the same for all groups (private, public, and non-profit). The use of library facilities are subject to Board Policy 3.4. Special considerations for RDPL co-sponsored programs are determined through signed partnership agreements.

Technical Equipment

Red Deer Public Library does not provide any equipment (including our sound system) nor technical assistance. With your room rental, you can request a projector which can be borrowed with a valid library card. The projector can only be used in the library and in the room you are renting. Renters are responsible to provide their own equipment and ensure they are able to connect to RDPL’s public WiFi if needed.
