Red Deer Public Library is governed by a board made up of one representative from City Council and 9 members of the public.

Board Meetings

Nine regular Board meetings are held each year, standing recessed in July, August, and December, with the Executive Committee acting on behalf of the Board during these three months. Meetings are generally held on the last Wednesday of each month.

Did you know? Board Meetings are open to the public! Currently, Library Board Meetings are being held virtually.
