Time Flies When You’re Having Fun!
Can you believe it?! Our Collicutt Branch has already been open for a year! As we look back on the past twelve months, it’s clear that our mini branch has quickly become a vibrant hub of activity and connection in the community.
Since opening our doors on August 30, 2023, the Collicutt Branch has been bustling with excitement and engagement. Here’s a snapshot of the amazing impact we've made in just one year*:
- 71,000 Visits and Counting: We’ve welcomed over 71,000 visitors through our doors. Each visit is a testament to the community's enthusiasm and to the branch’s role as a convenient connection to basic library services.
- 22,500 Items Checked Out: Our customers have borrowed over 22,500 items, including books, DVDs, and holds sent from other library branches. It’s been incredible to see our collection being enjoyed by so many!
- 800+ Program Attendees: From our Grand Opening Celebration to Drop-in Storytimes, Walk & Talk programs, and special events, over 800 people have participated in our diverse range of library programs. The energy and joy at these events have been truly inspiring.

The data speaks volumes, but it’s the personal stories and feedback from our community that really highlight our branch’s impact. Future Plans for the Collicutt Branch
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re excited to announce that the Collicutt Branch is here to stay! We will continue to operate with our self-serve model, making library access convenient and flexible for everyone. Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to introduce new programs, bring in fresh items for browsing, and explore potential new service options at this location in the future.
